These are successful businesses that have outgrown instinct. They have built something real, but their growth has introduced complexity that their early structure was never designed to carry.

They don’t need more busyness. They need more clarity: around strategy, structure and performance, and the framework that allows the business to grow with confidence and, in time, transition on its own terms.

Our role is clear. We work with a small number of clients at any one time, which means the founders, owners and boards we advise receive our full attention.

The work is serious, often private in nature, and it requires real engagement from both sides.

Meet Elliot Royce

I work with founders and business leaders at moments that matter.

At these moments, I help founders see clearly, navigate ambiguity and make better decisions about the future of their business.

My work sits at the intersection of strategy, performance and governance. I am as comfortable in a board discussion as I am working alongside a leadership team to reshape how a business operates.

My experience spans senior leadership, governance, strategy and transformation across Australasia and the wider Asia-Pacific region. I’ve served on the Australia and New Zealand regional executive of a leading Fortune 500 company and led through periods of significant growth and change.

Before founding Beyond Potential, I worked across major transformation programmes and multi-billion-dollar acquisitions, scaled project teams from inception to more than 1,000 people, and advised boards and executive teams through significant commercial transitions across Australasia, alongside broader strategy and transformation work across Asia.

I bring the lessons of operating at scale into founder-led businesses with judgement, applying what is useful to the size, stage and ambition of each business.

My approach is calm, direct and measured. I bring an independent perspective, helping founders cut through complexity, focus on what really matters and make better decisions about what comes next.

Our Philosophy

Success without the noise.

The most effective organisations aren’t the busiest. They are the clearest.

We believe genuine success is built through clarity. Clarity around strategy, structure and performance, and around the governance that allows an organisation to grow with confidence and transition on its own terms.

But clarity precedes performance. A business that is moving but directionless will plateau, or scale its problems alongside its revenue. Leadership judgement improves when expectations are explicit and accountability is real. Governance creates freedom, not constraint. And succession isn’t an unplanned event. It is the outcome of deliberate design, built over time.

Our role is to align ambition, structure and accountability so the business can realise the full value of what has been built.
